Welcome to Settlers Original Insect Repellent. This website is operated by Panteros Trading Pty Ltd (ABN 23 627 698 579) trading as Settlers ("Settlers", "we", "us"). By using this site or purchasing from it, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain English because that's how we do things.

1. About us

Settlers is an Australian-owned and operated business. Our products are made in Australia and protected by an Australian patent. We sell directly through this website and through selected Australian retailers.

2. Ordering

When you place an order, you're making an offer to purchase. We accept your offer when we confirm your order by email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order; for example, where a product is unavailable, a pricing error has occurred, or we can't verify payment. If we cancel an order you've already paid for, we'll refund you in full.

All prices on this site are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. If you're ordering from outside Australia, prices may be displayed in your local currency at the prevailing exchange rate, and your order may attract import duties or taxes on arrival. 3. Product information

We work hard to describe our products accurately, including how they work and how to use them. Product images are for illustration; actual packaging may vary slightly from what's shown.

Our products must be used as directed on the label. They are not a substitute for medical advice, and we make no medical or therapeutic claims about them. If you have concerns about insect-borne illness, sensitive skin, allergies, or use around children or animals, read the label carefully and seek professional advice where appropriate.

4. Intellectual property

Everything on this site - copy, images, branding, product names, and design - belongs to Panteros Trading Pty Ltd or is used under licence. Our product formulations are protected trade secrets, and the underlying technology is protected by granted patent. You may not reproduce, scrape, or commercially use any content from this site without our written permission.

5. Your account and conduct

If you create an account, keep your login details secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. You agree not to use this site for anything unlawful, to interfere with its operation, or to misrepresent your identity when dealing with us.

6. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject always to clause 6:

We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or our products.
Where liability can't be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to resupplying the product or refunding what you paid for it - whichever we choose.
We're not liable for events outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, natural disasters, or interruptions to this site.
